NO EXPERIMENTAN EN ANIMALES
Los países de la Unión Europea anunciaron en 2016 la prohibición de importación de productos cosméticos que hayan utilizado ingredientes probados en animales, y dieron a conocer que la venta de dichos productos quedó prohibida dentro del bloque. El Tribunal de Justicia de la Unión Europea (TJUE) anunció su decisión tras una consulta de la justicia británica sobre si podría vender estos productos probados en China y Japón. "El acceso al mercado de la Unión está condicionado al respeto de la prohibición de recurrir a la experimentación animal", independientemente del lugar donde se hayan realizado las pruebas, indicó el tribunal. Las reglas europeas ya prohibían desde 2004 la experimentación animal en el sector de los cosméticos y desde 2009, el uso de ingredientes probados en animales. Por tanto, el siguiente listado es ya sólo un asunto testimonial.
